Light festival organised by LPM Foundation, Light Move Festival, the „Festival of Kinetic Art of Light” is looking for light artists for its 8th edition, scheduled for September 2018.
Light Move Festival is one amazing weekend of light design, which turns the city into a beautiful art gallery, open for everybody. Streets, squares and parks wake up lightened with wonderful colors, dynamic play of light and amaze viewers with a mysterious shine, hidden in the day light. The festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from Poland and abroad.
LPM Foundation invites artists, designers, engineers, light designers and other people who just love light to take part in the next edition of festival. The programme of the Festival consist of large format projections, videomappings, artistic illumination, audiovisual performances in the post-industrial areas and numerous light installations. In addition to that – concerts, conferences and amazing atmosphere.
The call is divided into two categories:
• Videomapping 2D/3D,
• Light installations with other projects (interactive installations, street performance, parade, interdisciplinary spectacles).
This year, organiser are hoping for the creative expression of The Centenary of Regaining Polish Independence, according to the theme: "Flashes of Freedom". The projects should be based on motives such as:
For the eight time, Lodz will light up with thousands colors and the walls of monuments will come alive. During the weekend 28–30 September 2018 streets will turn into open art gallery presenting light projects created by artist from all over the word.
The Festival will be held from 28th September to 30th September 2018 in Lodz, Poland.
There is no entry fees to partecipate!

Light Move Festival is dedicate to students, experienced designers and all enthusiasts, who has chosen light as their main way of artistic expression.
