MonoVisions Photography Awards - International Black And White Photo Contest 2019 now is over!

MonoVisions Photography Awards 2019, an international open call for photographers using black and white medium, is opened for entries with the aim to discover the best monochrome photographers from all over the world and deliver the best opportunities to be recognized and rewarded for their work.

About Competition

Now in its 3nd year, the MonoVisions Photography Awards 2019 is opened for entries inviting all photographers worldwide to participate.

The organizer aim to discover the best monochrome photographers from all over the world and deliver the best opportunities to be recognized and rewarded for their work. You can compete for $5000 in cash prizes in two categories: Black and White Photo of the Year 2019 and Black and White Series of the Year 2019.

This photography competition is open for photographers using black and white medium to express their visual language. All forms of black and white photography created with traditional or digital methods are accepted.

The twelve competition categories include:

• Abstract,
• Architecture,
• Conceptual,
• Fine Art,
• Landscapes,
• Nature and Wildlife,
• Nude,
• People,
• Photojournalism,
• Portrait,
• Street Photography
• Travel

Your work can be submitted like SINGLE photo or SERIES of photos. In Single photo section you may submit just 1 image. In Series you can submit 2-8 images, sharing the same idea and concept.

Toned images (like sepia, selenium or gold) will be accepted. Post processing techniques are allowed. Both analogue (scan slides) and digital black and white images will be accepted. Color images converted to black and white will be accepted.

You can only enter the contest via online with digital files. All photos need to be in JPG format and 72 dpi, 1100 pixels on the longest side. Images awarded in other contests will be accepted. Published and unpublished images will be accepted.

Copyright of the images will remain at all times with the photographer.

Entry fees:

• Single image: $20
• Series of images: $25
If you want to submit your entries in multiple categories additional fee is $10 for every category.

Eligibility

MonoVisions Photography Awards 2019 is open to all photographers aged of at least 18 years old from any country in the world.
