Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Contest 2017 now is over!
Organised every two years by Nami Island (Korea) illustration competition, the Nami International Picture Book Illustration Contest aims to encourage artists creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality of picture book illustrations.
About Competition
In this illustration competition there is no restriction regarding the theme, and you are welcome to submit either original illustrations or digital prints of original illustrations as entries. Both published and unpublished illustrations will be judged equally.
A set of illustration should comprise one story, and number of illustration per entry can upload 5 to 10 images.
The size of each image may differ as long as the total sum is less than 20MB. Each work should be at least 1024 pixels.
Each applicant can apply up to 3 entries as long as they’re different works, and both published and unpublished illustrations will be judged equally.
Applicants are also required to submit synopsis, as synopsis is important to help jury to understand submitted illustrations based on a flow of story. For this reason, each applicant is required to submit synopsis within 100 words in English. However, synopsis itself will not be graded as a part of judgment.
There is no entry fee fo this illustration competition.
