RC Art Shop is pleased to announce the NewA Collection – NewAge Painting Contest 2015 and invite all Fine Arts and Painting students around the world to participate with their best oil on canvas and acrylic works. This contest is organized to open new horizons for art lovers and to promote and support young artists. At the end of this first of a series of (traditionally) annual contests, achievement awards will be granted and artworks of significance will be displayed in an exhibition, further supporting the works of the young artists. The first ten (10) artists will be invited to Ankara for a week, including travel expenses and accommodation and will be asked to perform with the materials provided there. Three winners will be determined at the end of these performances. The total prize fund of the NewAge Painting Contest 2015 is $10,000, of which $5,000 are reserved for the 1st place winner. The 1st place winner will be given the Newage figurine of bronze and Bilkent Sanat Sokağı will have a gallery to his or her name for one year. Artist in the 2nd and 3rd places will have their own exhibition in Bilkent Sanat Sokağı for 21 days. The best three artists will also be invited to Oman for five days as guests of the Sultanate of Oman. Artworks that have won awards and of significance will be presented to the art lovers of Ankara with an exhibition to be organized in May 2015. A total of 200 selected artworks will be included in a catalog.
About Competition
