Ocean Awareness Student Art Contest 2018

Ocean Awareness Student Art Contest 2018 now is over!
Annual student art contest titled Ocean Awareness Student Contest, organised by Bow Seat, is recently opened for entries for 2018 and like every year invites middle and high school students from around the world to participate.
About Competition
Ocean Awareness Student Contest is one of the most pressing student art contest facing the ocean.
Plastics pose a huge threat to the ocean ecosystem because they do not biodegrade. Instead, they continue to break into smaller and smaller pieces, which litter the ocean and its beaches. Did you know that plastics account for 80% of all ocean pollution?
This year’s contest asks you to explore the theme "Our Oceans in a Changing Climate", and call for young artists, thinkers, and activists who are concerned about the future of our human and natural communities to use their creative voices to explore, express, and advocate for issues related to climate change and our oceans.
There are five categories:
• Art
• Poetry
• Prose
• Film
• Music
Entries may be submitted by an individual or group of unlimited size. Each Individual or Group who submits to the contest must have one or more adult sponsors (usually, sponsors are teachers, a parent, or a mentor). Any student may submit (i.e., have their name included in) only one entry per category.
