OSTEN Biennial of Drawing Skopje 2020, drawing competition recently has opened for applications dedicated of creating and preserving the art on paper, creative and modern interpretations of the drawing with full artistic freedom, invites all artists from around the world to participate.
About Competition
OSTEN Biennial of Drawing Skopje 2020, drawing competition has opened for applications and all artists from around the world are invited to participate with their most innovative and creative works.
They respect the style of the artist and his/her artistic performance, since each bears exclusive features. They also appreciate the topic chosen by the artist, since each bears his/her unique muse.
Fantasy is approved of, futurism is envisaged, innovation is respected. They acknowledge artists and share their work with the audience. Submission guidelines:
Submited works need to be completed between 2018 and 2020. The Biennial is rather focused on a contemporary drawing, but in its widest interpretation. Feel free to submit your most innovative and creative works.
The participants should submit 1 or more worksshort CV and photo.
On the back side of each work must be written with capital letters in pencil: Artist’s name&surname and title of the work (according to the application form).
The submitted works shall remain within the collection of OSTEN or the Museum of Drawing.
Only original works are eligible for submission (not photos of the works).
Artists decide upon the size, theme and media technique of the submitted works.
The selection process will take place in June 2020, the jury will judge at the end of the same month, and the official opening of the OSTEN Biennial of Drawing Skopje 2020 and the announcement of the awards will take place on 24th September 2020 in the city of Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.

The entry fee is $55.
