Penguin Random House Design Award 2019

Penguin Random House Design Award 2019 now is over!
Penguin Random House Design Award, design competitions for students, an opportunity for students on an art or design course, has been recently opened for entries in its 2019 edition.
About Competition
The Penguin Random House Design Award, design competitions for students, is an opportunity for students on an art or design course at HND or degree level to engage in design for publishing during their studies and to experience real cover and page layout design briefs first-hand.
The Penguin Random House Design Award was started ten years ago to encourage the next generation of designers to use their amazing talents to help them tell their author’s stories.
The aim of The Penguin Random House Design Award is to nurture and encourage anyone who is interested in following a career in design, which includes but is not exclusive to students on design courses. Is an opportunity for students on an art or design course at HND or degree level to engage in design for publishing during their studies and to experience real cover and page layout design briefs first hand.
To make the process even more similar to the way Penguin’s designers work, once the judges have selected the shortlist, the Art Directors will give the shortlisted entrants feedback and further art direction on their submissions. Shortlisted entrants will then be invited to resubmit their work, taking all the comments on board, before the final round of judging.
Students may enter a maximum of one cover design in each of the three categories:
• Adult Fiction Cover Award
• Adult Non-Fiction Cover Award
• Children’s Cover Award
Entries must be supplied as a high-resolution PDF, 300 dpi, CMYK.
There is no entry fee to participate!
