Planetary Urbanism – ARCH+ International Competition

Planetary Urbanism – ARCH+ International Competition now is over!
The Planetary Urbanism art competition is about casting light on the current problems of the urbanization process, indicating strategies in the approach to these problems and presenting more advanced concepts of urbanization.
About Competition
Presentations should look behind the facts and clarify coherencies and trends and visually display spatial and temporal circumstances by tracing the forces driving their development. To master the task, all techniques of visual representation and pictorial media can be employed, but a coherent overall concept should be recognizable in the selection, transformation and presentation of the information.
Some of the possible topical groups that may be developed as main focus areas are:
- Urban Metabolism
- Spatial Structure
- Population
- Social Innovations
- Digital City
- Real Estate Industry
The competition entries will be published by the organizers and exhibited in the context of the UN-Habitat III Conference 2016 – the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development – which will take place in Quito, Ecuador, in October 2016.
