The Fondation D’Entreprise Hermès has recently launched the 2016 idea design competition with a them ’Play’ for its Prix Émile Hermès international design award.
About Competition
Submitted designs should clearly signal their target market for the particular aspect or type of "Play" addressed whether conceived for a specific age group, or readily accessible to children, teenagers and adults alike.
Designs may present completely new concepts; be inventive or experimental in their handling or approach. They may involve physical participation, movement or physiological activity.
The 2016 jury will examine the entries and assess the designs according to their quality of presentation, compliance with the competition’s theme and specifications, creativity, originality, innovation, aesthetic quality, as well as the quality of execution of the submitted prototypes.
The award ceremony will take place in June 2016, in Paris.
Since its creation in 2007, the Prix Émile Hermès has supported innovation and promoted talented young designers whose work will accompany our evolving society and lifestyles.
There is no entry fee for this product design comeptition!

This product design competition is open for all professionals younger than 40 and students in their final year of study, from any part of the world.
