SansperArte Paese Museo International Illustration Award now is over!
Illustration Award ’SansperArte Paese Museo’ has been recently opened for entries, dedicate to develop a picture book, invites all artists of any nationality, with no age restrictions to participate.
About Competition
The Association Noarte Paese Museo and the ATI SanSperArte Paese Museo, in cooperation with the City Council of San Sperate and the Fundação Bienal de Arte de Cerveira, call out for the Editorial Illustration Award ’SansperArte Paese Museo’ to develop a picture book.
This International Illustration Award is dedicated to all the young people who, in 1968 played an important role in the cultural revolution that transformed the small centre of San Sperate (Sardinia, Italy) into a Museum Town, and particularly to the memory of Pinuccio Sciola (1942-2016), internationally renowned artist, founding father of the Museum Town.
The Award aims at spreading the universal message put out by the Museum Town, using literature for kids as a medium and activating a process of participation in relation to art production.
Submission requirements:
The illustrations can be created with any technique of choice. The illustration must be provided in JPEG format at 300 dpi in RGB. Those participants selected for the exhibition are required to send a high-definition print of their work no larger than an A3 format (42 x 29.7 cm), vertical or horizontal, to be showcased at the exhibition.
The selected pieces will showcase at the 21st International Biennale of Cerveira Art (Portugal) in 2020 and published in the Catalogue.
There is no entry fee to participate!
Eligibility
Open to artists of any nationality, place of origin or residence, with no age restrictions. The enrolment of underage children is also accepted, provided they present written authorisation from one of the parents, or guardian.
