Shriekfest continues its tradition with 18th annual horror film festival titled Shriekfest Horror/SciFi Film Festival, that’s now open for entries for its 2018 horror event calling for entries by filmmakers from all around the world.

Annual Horror film festival organised by Shriekfest in its 18th editon is calling for entries for 2018 inviting filmmakers from all around the world to partecipate.
Shriekfest is an international horror, film festival and screenwriting contest celebrating the work of independent artists in the horror, thriller, sci-fi, and fantasy film genres.
Shriekfest every year continues its tradition as Los Angeles’ Premier horror film event, presenting an exciting program of films each fall, with beautiful Los Angeles as its backdrop.
Both established and emerging filmmakers gain media exposure, connect with the region’s diverse audiences, and participate in an acclaimed event attended by industry professionals as well as horror and scifi fans.
The organizers are looking for original films and screenplays,
It’s accepted films/screenplays in the following six categories:
• Narrative feature,
• Narrative short,
• Narrative super short,
• Music video,
• Feature screenplay, and
• Short screenplay.
Shriekfest takes place at the legendary Raleigh Studios, which is the largest independent studio operator in USA.
The event for 2018 Shriekfest is scheduled for 4-7 October.
Entrie fees start at $20(US) for Music video and depends on the date of submission and the entry type.
