Shriekfest continues its tradition with 20th annual Shriekfest Horror Film Festival, now open for entries for its 2020 horror event calling for submissions by filmmakers from all around the world to submit they best works.
About Competition
Annual Horror Film Festival organised by Shriekfest this year is running in its 20th edition and now is calling for entries inviting filmmakers from all around the world to participate with they best films.
Shriekfest is an international horror, film festival and screenwriting contest celebrating the work of independent artists in the different genres.
Every year Shriekfest continues its tradition as Los Angeles’ Premier horror film event, presenting an exciting program of films each fall, with beautiful Los Angeles as its backdrop.
The organizers are looking for original films and screenplays and accept films/screenplays in the following six categories:
• Narrative feature,
• Narrative short,
• Narrative super short,
• Music video,
• Feature screenplay,
• Short screenplay.
Eligible genres include: horror, comedy horror, thriller, sci-fi, and fantasy.
Shriekfest takes place at the legendary Raleigh Studios, which is the largest independent studio operator in USA.
Entries start at $20 (US) and vary depending on the date of submission and the entry type.
Both established and emerging filmmakers gain media exposure, connect with the region’s diverse audiences, and participate in an acclaimed event attended by industry professionals as well as horror and scifi fans.
