SPD 51 Editorial Design Competition

SPD 51 Editorial Design Competition now is over!
The Society of Publication Designers has announced the call for entries for its 51st Annual Design Competition. The SPD awards recognize and promote the best in editorial design, photography and illustration in print and digital mediums.
About Competition
Entries are welcome from a diverse range of consumer print publications, independent magazines (circulation under 20,000), custom-published magazines, trade and educational magazines; as well as their app, mobile and web platforms.
All entries submitted in the competition must be published and dated 2015; this includes magazines with a split date 2015/2016 (please note: 2014/2015 issues are not eligible).
SPD invites leading design professionals to judge the work of their peers. During three days of judging, top art directors, designers, photo editors, and editors view and discuss over 6,000 entries in over 100 separate categories. This rigorous process produces a show composed of less than ten percent of the entries, representing a unique yearly overview of the quality and direction of editorial design.
Entry fees for this design competition is 45 USD for SPD Members and 90 USD for Non Members. Late fee of additional 10 USD applies after 18 January 2016.
Eligibility
This photography and illustration design competition is open worldwide to editorial publications of any genre, including all newsstand publications, newspaper magazines, trade, custom publishing, educational/ institutional, special interest publications, and Independent/ self-published magazines with a circulation under 20,000.
