That’s a Mole! Interntional Illustration Contest 2018 now is over!
That’s a Mole!, an international illustration contest, has been recently opened for entries asking partecipants to creat an illustration, a graphic interpretation or a decorative pattern in the shape of the most important icon of the city of Turin(Italy): the Mole Antonelliana monument.
About Competition
Since the 12th of March 2018 it will be possible to participate in the 5th edition of That’s a Mole!, the International Illustration Contest, promoted by Associazione That’s a Mole, designed to promote the most innovative and creative visual interpretations of the city of Turin’s symbol: the Mole Antonelliana.
Participants of this illustration contest are requested to create an illustration, a graphic interpretation or a decorative pattern inside the shape of the Mole Antonelliana monument.
That’s a Mole! aims to be successful in giving visibility and enhancing the participants’ work, while also reinforcing and promoting the attention to culture, community and tourism in the area.
It is possible to participate individually or collectively.
Technique is free, and each participant may submit up to 3 proposals of Mole Antonelliana. Artwork can be submitted by individuals and/or groups, neither published nor presented in previous contests.
In the case of selection by the jury, the proposals would be required in high definition (300 dpi) and with dimensions 40x17 cm (1:1 scale).
A qualified jury will select 29 proposals, which will be exhibited in front of Mole Antonelliana (Via Montebello, Turin) from June to September 2018.
The participation fee, regardless the number of submitted proposals (maximum 3) will be €10 but for the ’Educational section’, which is free.
Eligibility
The contest is open to everybody, with no age limit, to both Italian and foreign citizens, resident and non-resident in Italy, legal or natural persons of all ages.
