Alexia Foundation 2018 Professional & Student Grants Competition

Alexia Foundation 2018 Professional & Student Grants Competition now is over!
The Alexia Foundation has recently started accepting applications for its 2018 grant competition offers production grants to students and professional visual journalists to help them produce projects that inspire change by addressing topics that are socially significant.
About Competition
Alexia Foundation Grants were created nearly 30 years ago to support still photographers and that remains their primary mission. The Alexia Foundation awards grants to student and professional visual journalists to help them produce projects that inspire change by addressing topics that are socially significant.
Through grants, scholarships and special projects, The Alexia Foundation supports photographers as agents for change.
They recognize that the profession more and more calls for a diverse range of story forms. Therefore, while your submissions must have a set of still photographs, you may also submit other story forms as part of your grant application submission. Those may include audio, video, VR or any other visual format. There will be a spot on the submission site to post up to two links.
The Professional Alexia Grant is offered to enable professional photographers and visual journalists to produce substantial bodies of work that share the Foundation’s goals of promoting world peace and cultural understanding.
Deadline for Professional Alexia Grant submission is 1 February 2018 at midnight Eastern U.S. Time.
The Student Alexia Grant is offered to enable current college student photographers to produce substantial bodies of work that share the Foundation’s goals of promoting world peace and cultural understanding.
