The Festas de Lisboa Sardine Contest 2018 now is over!
The Festas de Lisboa Sardine Contest 2018, creative contest and initiative of EGEAC, recently has opened the call for entries with aim to stimulate the participation of all in creating the image of the sardines that will be used as part of Festas de Lisboa’18 campaign.
About Competition
Festas de Lisboa Sardine Contest 2018 is the initiative of EGEAC, Empresa de Gestão de Equipamentos e Animação Cultural, E.M., S.A. (hereinafter called EGEAC), that aims to stimulate the participation of all in creating the image of the sardines that will be used as part of Festas de Lisboa’18 campaign.
Save the Sardine! is the motto of the international Festas de Lisboa Sardine Contest 2018 that this year wants to help to preserve this species through imagination and stimulating participation without borders.
Portuguese and foreigners, children and adults, artists and amateurs, in groups or individually, anyone can contribute to the multiplication of the sardine symbol of the Lisbon Festivities. The theme is free and inspiration has no limits.
Proposals must be recognized as sardines and not to be confused with any other fish. A basic sardine silhouette is provided on the officil contest’s website. Sardine proposals may be executed with manual or digital techniques.
Sardine proposals may be executed with manual or digital techniques, under the following conditions:
a) proposals in manual techniques (on paper/cardboard, collage, photography or three-dimensional object) should be photographed or scanned in order to be attached to the application form as a file. The file should be presented as JPEG/JPG (size up to 50 MB), on a format A3 (42 x 29,7 cm) and a resolution of 300 dpi;
b) the digital proposals should be presented as JPEG/JPG files (size up to 50 MB), on a format A3 (42 x 29,7 cm) and a resolution of 300 dpi;
c) the video proposals should be presented as MPEG/MPG or MOV files (size up to 50 MB)
The winning sardines will be announced on May 31st.
There is no entry fee or this competition.

This contest is open worldwide to legal or natural persons of all ages.
