The Hopper Prize Spring 2020 now is over!
The Hopper Prize Spring 2020 has been recently announced for entries, organised by a grant-making institution and digital archiving platform committed to supporting artists from diverse cultural backgrounds at all stages of their professional careers, invites all artists working in any media to participate.
About Competition
The Hopper Prize is an bi-annual call for artists, established to increase recognition of the work of visual artists, recently has opened for entries for 2020 inviting any artist to take a part with no restrictions on media.
The Hopper Prize to advance the careers of visual artists by providing unrestricted financial support in the form of individual artist grants and also to create new relationships between artists, curators, writers, and collectors in addition to providing unrestricted cash awards to artists. Their primary objective is to make it possible for artists to fully realize their creative expression while reaching new curatorial audiences, collectors, writers, and advisors. The Prize accepts entries in all media:

● Photography
● Sculpture
● Drawing
● Video
● Performance
● Conceptual
● Experimental
● Installation
Image Specifications:
● JPG files should be 2500 pixels wide on their longest dimension.
● JPG files should not exceed 2 megabytes per file.
● To submit video or time based art, include a URL to the video on Youtube or Vimeo.
The Hopper Prize Spring 2020 grant winners will be selected by Amber Esseiva (Associate Curator at Institute for Contemporary Art VCU) and Leila Groth (Associate Curator for Contemporary Art at Baltimore Museum of Art). Up to 30 artists will be selected. Winners will be chosen based on the quality of their work.

Entry fee is 40 USD.
Eligibility
The Hopper Prize Spring 2020 is open to all artists worldwide, age 18 and older working in any media. There are no restrictions on genre, subject matter, or media. You can apply as a team or collaborative project. Artists collectives are also encouraged to participate.
