The One Club for Creativity recently has partnered with the United Nations Office for Partnerships and PVBLIC Foundation to launch ’The One Show Sustainable Development Pencil’.
By introducing the Sustainable Development Pencil, The One Club for Creativity aims to reward the teams who chose to utilize their creative talents and resources to better the world we live in, and contribute to securing a sustainable future for all.
The new SD Pencil will have three categories: • People, • Planet, • Systems.
There is also the subcategories based on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Guidelines:
Submissions for the award must be in the form of a case study, demonstrating and explaining the project’s impact, scalability, sustainability and strategic partnerships. Work has to have appeared in market between January 1, 2016 and February 28, 2020 to be eligible.
Your submitted work should address one or more of the 17 Goals to Transform Our World. Selecting the individual goal which best describes the intention of your work will help the jury with their judging process.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. Submission requirements:
• Only case study videos are accepted.
• Case study videos must not contain any agency information.
• All case study videos must be a maximum length of 2 minutes.
• For non-English language entries, provide English subtitles in your video.
The Entry Description limit is increased to 1,000 words to allow for a detailed explanation of the impact, scalability, partnership, and overall results of your campaign. The description is not required, but is highly recommended.
The Sustainable Development Pencil will be awarded to work that:
• Proves to have a sustained and measurable impact over time
• Is scalable by other brands and/or places
• Changes behavior in addition to raising awareness
• Involves a strategic partnership
There is a fee for each entry that you submit and very dependents of the category.
