The Schindler Global Award (SGA), student architecture competition, focused on mobility, understood as a key driver of desirable change in urban areas around the world has recently opened the call for entries for 2017 and waiting all students of architecture, urban design and planning to partecipate.
About Competition
This student architetcure competition will focus on the impact and implications of current and future mobility systems in one of the most globally significant cities in Brazil, South America: São Paulo.
The SGA is a chance for young designers to match their skills and imaginations against the challenge of shaping the cities of today and tomorrow.
Participation in the competition gives students a platform for knowledge sharing, comparison and recognition. Through the use of the open competition format, common in professional design practice, students have the opportunity to gain career-oriented skills and contact with internationally renowned practitioners and experts.
The Schindler Global Award 2017 is held under the leadership of the Schindler Group, again in collaboration with the ETH Zurich, Chair of Architecture and Urban Design, Professor Kees Christiaanse.
There is no entry fee for this student architecture competition!
Eligibility
The SGA student architecture competition is open to final-year bachelor’s and all master’s degree students of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and planning, from degree-granting educational institutions worldwide.
