Migliorino Art & Interior design with a collaboration of the Committee of Young Architects of the order of Architects PPC have organized a new interior design competition named ’This is not a Room’.The quetion is: What’s an hotel room? In recent years the behavior and needs of the guests of a hotel were also modified in relation to the transformation of the reasons of stay.
About Competition
What’s an hotel room? In recent years the behavior and needs of the guests of a hotel were also modified in relation to the transformation of the reasons of stay.
That’s could be the place not only for a business or leisure but also search for wellness, relaxation or maybe a lonely place rather than crowded.
An space to live in solitude or in the company, designed for meditation or for the moments of transgression.
"This is not a room" is a reflection of a place of inspiration for a new philosophy of the space that thinks about needs of everyone and everything.
A room is not just a room, it can be much more.
This interior design competition is proposing the study of a "space" in a position to meet the new features and behaviors inside of a hotel room.
You can participate both individually and in groups.
There is no entry fee for this interior design competition.
The competition rules is on italian and your submission need to be written in italian.
Eligibility
This interior design competition is open to under 40. It's dedicate to professional designers and architects, Italian and foreigners, who are engaged in design and the arts and students of various design schools and universities of architecture.
