For the 4rd time Toyota Material Handling Europe launches its Toyota Logistic Design Competition 2019 inviting all university design students and recent graduates to baggage handling processes.
About Competition
Toyota Logistic Design Competition 2020 has been recently organized by Toyota Material Handling Europe and is calling for submissions all university design students and recent graduates to baggage handling processes.

Since the whole world’s waiting for turgid and flawed baggage handling to go away forever organizer challenges you to come up with a solution or several solutions that will iron out the wrinkles in this business.
Baggage handling at airports could do with a proper makeover. This is the theme of the 4th design competition, and it’s open to design students and graduates from all over the world. So, if you feel that improving the current systems is your bag, so to speak, organizer wants you to enter this challenge.
Although the competition is focused on industrial design, product design and transportation design, students with a background in business, fashion, engineering, architecture etc. are also welcome to submit their work.
You either get to grips with the whole concept of dealing with bags. (Big task.) Or you might want to zero in on a particular aspect of baggage handling. (No small task, either.)
Entries are accepted from individuals, as well as from teams of up to 3.
Submissions should consist of the following:
• Concept title
• A short description of the concept (max 150 words)
• A presentation of the concept in PDF format
• Photo of yourself or team (viewable to the public)
As a finalist you will also be able to submit optional documents of your concept in 3D as well as animations, video files etc.
The organizers are seeking for visual concepts that demonstrate quality and clarity, incorporate the Toyota heritage and its core product values and meet the judging criteria. Concepts should also be innovative and environment-friendly.
Finalists will be invited to the prize ceremony in Sweden, and later their work will be exhibited at a fair in Hannover, Germany held on 20–24 April, 2020.
There is no entry fees to participate!
Eligibility
The competition is open to university design students and recent graduates (2019), from all over the world. Only participants who belong to an undergraduate or graduate university program are eligible to compete.
