For the 3rd time Toyota Material Handling Europe launches the new packaging design competition titled Toyota Logistic Design Competition for 2018 inviting all design students, and those who’ve recently graduated, to revolutionise the future of package handling and the logistics process.
About Competition
Toyota Material Handling Europe for the 3rd time has launched packaging design competition titled Toyota Logistic Design Competition.
For the 2018, Toyota is challenging university students, and those who has recently graduated, to revolutionise the future of package handling and the logistics process. Toyota is searching for package delivery concepts. The concept should solve the problem, it’s yours to design.
Around 25 million packages are delivered in Europe every day and current delivery processes are nearing peak efficiency, with little room left to improve. Now is the time for a logistics revolution!
They challenge you to think about the possibilities of direct delivery to customers, by reinventing the idea of the traditional supply chain. It is time to revamp the package delivery industry by considering how you would optimise the last mile each package travels by creating a logistic solution that is fast, sustainable, and most of all: revolutionary.
Share your innovative and sustainable solution for improving the last mile of the package delivery process.
Submissions should consist of the following:
• Concept title
• A short description of the concept (max 150 words)
• A presentation of the concept in PDF format
• Photo of yourself or team (viewable to the public)
If you are selected as a finalist and invited to develop your concept further, you will be additionally asked to upload a single image to represent your concept. As a finalist you will also be able to submit optional documents of your concept in 3D, animations or video files.
The organizers are seeking for visual concepts that demonstrate quality and clarity, incorporate the Toyota heritage and its core product values and meet the judging criteria. Concepts should also be innovative and environment-friendly.
There is no entry fee for this competition!
Eligibility
This competition is open to university design students and recent graduates (2017) of an accredited European university.>br> Applicants can enter individually or in teams of up to three members.
