Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) 2017 now is over!
International Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY), photography competition is now opened for entries waiting for all amateur, semi-pro and professional photographers of all ages, from any part of the world to submit they best photos.
About Competition
Now in the 15th year,photography competition titled Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY)is open for the 2017.
There are three Portfolio categories, Young Travel Photographer of the Year award, three One Shot categories, a Smart Shot category, a New Talent award and the overall winner of Travel Photographer of the Year 2017.
Entrants who submit two or more Portfolio Category entries will be eligible for the Award for Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) 2017. Where entrants submit more than two portfolios, the judges will consider each entrant’s best two portfolios when selecting the overall winner.
This year’s competition categories include:
• Celebration of Humanity – Portfolio
• Earth & Climate – Portfolio
• Tales of Adventure – Portfolio
• My Camera, My Travels – Young Travel Photographer of the Year
• Destination – New Talent
• Wildlife, Sealife – One Shot
• Food! – Flavours of the World – One Shot
• Primary Colours and – One Shot
• iTravelled – Smart Shot
A portfolio must comprise four images. Portfolios with more or less than four images will be disqualified. An image cannot be entered in more than one portfolio, but a portfolio image may also be entered in a single image category.
Any photographer, amateur and professional, aged 19 years and over, from any country, can enter the three portfolio categories and anyone can enter the three Single Image ‘One Shot’ categories and the Smart Shot category. The New Talent and Young Travel Photographer of the Year categories are only open to emerging and young photographers.
TPOTY’s 2017 shortlisted entries will be announced at the beginning of November and final results in early December.
The entry fee for each portfolio category and New Talent is £15. The entry fee for One Shot and Smart Shot is £8 per entry, and Young TPOTY is free to enter.
