Verzasca FOTO Festival Awards 2016 – Nera di Verzasca now is over!
The Verzasca FOTO Association has been recently opened the call for entries for its Nera di Verzasca Award 2016 photography competition inviting all amateur and professional photographers, older than 18, to participate.
About Competition
Photography competition Nera di Verzasca Award 2016 theme is Open and both analogical (scanned from negative or slide) and digital images are allowed for submission. Photo stories with a minimum 3 and a maximum 10 photos should be submitted.
Criteria for submitting your photo story:
- minimum 3 and maximum 10 photographs,
- JPEG format,
- colour or monochrome,
- maximum uploading dimension 1.5 MB per image,
- dimension of the longer side must be 1000 pixel.
Both analogical (scanned from negative or slide) and digital images are allowed. Participants must own the original files. In order to confirm your registration you must enter a title and a short description for the group of photos.

- We accept already edited videos or photo slide-shows of a length of circa 2 to 5 minutes.
- Multimedia can be with or without sound/music.
- Files: .mp4, .mov files (better if compressed in h.264).
- Resolution:
1920 pixels wide x 1080 pixels high (suggested)
1024 pixels wide x 764 pixel high
- Frames: 25 frames per second
Remember to put your name and music credits in your file.

The Verzasca FOTO Festival is an annual event that offers open air exhibitions, photo nights with live music, meetings and workshops given by professional photographers.
Verzasca FOTO Festival 2016 Entry Fee is 20 Swiss Francs (19 Euro).
