Videoex, the Switzerland's largest festival dedicated to experimental film and video and now is calling for entries inviting you to submit your digital or analog work for the International & Swiss competition 2021 with purpose to promote video and experimental film works worldwide.
About Competition
Videoex is Switzerland's largest festival dedicated to experimental film and video. Over the course of nine days, Videoex shows films and videos beyond conventional narrative cinema: experimental, visually surprising, conceptually unexpected or controversially political films and videos on the threshold between visual art and film.
Organiser are looking for experimental, innovative and progressive works that explore the possibilities of film as a medium, expanding the idea of film and cinema. You can submit
Only works completed after October 1, 2019 is accepted. Each entry must be accompanied by a short synopsis in German, French, Italian or English. Participants may submit a maximum of 3 works.
Videoex 2021 will include an international and a swiss competition.
Evaluation Criteria
The festival will make a choice based on criteria of quality and originality in both, form and content.
VIDEOEX Experimental Film & Video Festival will be held at Zürich from 29. May - 6. Juni 2021.
Eligibility
This competition is open to anyone worldwide.
Prize
The total value of the prizes is 3000 CHF.
