Warsaw Ghetto Museum Competition for Visual Identity now is over!
Warsaw Ghetto Museum in cooperation with The Association of Professional Polish Graphic Designers announce an international Visual Identity Competition, inviting designers from all over the world to participate.
About Competition
The Warsaw Ghetto Museum, in cooperation with The Association of Professional Polish Graphic Designers (STGU) recently has announced an international graphic design competition. This competition allows designers from all over the world to take part in building memory of the Warsaw ghetto.
WGM is open to innovative solutions, provided that their use is justified in terms of substance and communication needs. Key competences in building systemic, well-thought-out identification and full branding, not just the logotype, are required owing to the scope of the project, as well as its potential expansion.
The aim of this competition is to select the winning project, whose author / design team will develop and implement it under the tutelage of the Association of Applied Graphic Designers (STGU) and in cooperation with the team of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum.
The competition will be carried out in 2 stages.
1)Stage I – portfolio submission, presentation of the portfolio by designers, which includes the minimum of 3 drafts of created visual identification designs. The portfolios should be sent via the form available on the www.konkurs.1943.pl.
Competition Jury of five selected Designers will select 5 authors from among the authors of submitted portfolios that will qualify for the second stage. The results of the 1st stage of the Competition shall be announced on October 21, 2019.
2)Stage II - in the second stage, selected authors will prepare initial concepts of WGM visual identity, based on which, the Competition Chapter will select the winner. The deadline for submitting entries for the 2nd stage of the Competition is November 15, 2019.
Each Participant may submit a desired number of Works.
Work entries should be sent as PDF presentations and the file cannot exceed 15MB.
The Winner of the Competition shall be announced on November 21, 2019.
There is no entry fee to participate!
Eligibility
The competition is aimed for: adults, professionals, private individuals, companies set up by private individuals and legal entities operating in the field of graphic design, as well as students of design faculties acting both individually and in the form of project teams.
