Weltformat Graphic Design Festival 2018 in Lucerne (Switzerland) again look­ing for the most exciting newcomer poster designers this year celebrating the festival’s 10th jubilee invites everyone younger than 27, whether stu­dent, intern or at the start of their career to partecipate with they best work.

About Competition

Weltformat Graphic Design Festival 2018 in Lucerne (Switzerland), this year cel­e­brat­ing the 10th jubilee of Welt­for­mat Graph­ic Design Fes­ti­val, again is look­ing for the most excit­ing new­com­er poster design­ers. Welt­for­mat poster competition 2018 is theme "Now What?!".

Organiser is look­ing for your visu­al inter­pre­ta­tion of turn­ing points; this moment of maximal tension, just before everything changes – moments of uncertainty, triggered by incisive events and formative experiences. Turning points–whether on a political, socio cultural or personal level–feel like a vacuum, like the start of a journey with an uncertain outcome. They ask for decisions, a turnaround, a change of direction or maybe just a swerve? As harbingers of a new era, they are signs of profound change.

Submission requirements:

• Upload your poster as a JPG file (150 dpi, DIN A3 (297x420mm), not larger than 3 MB) here by July 31st: http://weltformat.posterforest.com
• A maximum of 3 entries per person is permitted.
• Already published works and plagiarisms are excluded from participation.

After the closing date, a jury consisting of poster designers and a representative of APG|SGA will select 20 posters from all entries. This posters will be printed in F4 format (895x1280 mm) and will be presented in an exhibition during Weltformat Graphic Design Festival 2018 in Lucerne (Switzerland) from September 29th to October 7th, 2018. The winner will be announced at the award ceremony taking place during the festival opening on September 29th at Neubad, Lucerne. After the exhibition, the winning poster will be shown at 500 locations throughout Switzerland and awarded with a cash prize.

There is no entry fee to partecipate in this competition.
