World Biennial Exhibition of Student Photography 2017 now is over!
Photography competition titled The World Biennial of Student Photography organised by the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad (Serbia)has been recently opened for entries for 2017 inviting all undergraduate students of academies and colleges where the discipline of photography is part of the curriculum to partecipate.
About Competition
Since its beginnings in 2004, The World Biennial of Student Photography, an photography competition has grown into an important platform for exchange of ideas and cross-cultural encounters. Nowadays it stands as the first manifestation in the region to promote the achievements of national and international students in the field of photography.
There are no limitations on techniques or realisation of the photographs, and there is no prescribed theme to the competition. All subjects and themes realised within the study programme are welcomed.
Format should be no longer than 35cm (the shorter side) if submitted in electronic form, 300 dpi RGB, JPG or PDF. The files should not exceed 10 MB per image.
Each student can send up to 10 photographs from only one photographic series or body of work. This can be accompanied with a short description of the work (up to 200 words). If the work is in the form of a photo book, please send both the selection of up to 10 photographs and provide a link to the page where the whole book is presented.
All submitted works will become a part of the special Biennial collection at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and can be used in didactic and promotional purposes by both the Biennial and the Academy.
The Biennial opening and awards ceremony will be held in Novi Sad in November / December 2017, and the exact date will be duly announced on the Biennial website.
There is no entry fee for this competition.
