YICCA 2018 – International Contest of Contemporary Art now is over!
YICCA 2018 Art Competition, an international call for artists organised by Moho Association, open to professionals and not only from any country in the world, has been recently opened for entries with aim to promote the enrolled artists, giving them chance to join the international market of contemporary art.
About Competition
The Moho Association recently has announced the call for artist for its YICCA 2018 – International Contest of Contemporary Art, calling for works by artists from any part of the world. The competition’s aim is to promote the enrolled artists, giving them chance to join the international market of contemporary art.
YICCA Art Competition was founded in 2009. The decision of its foundation was taken under the great influence of new ways of making and thinking art that recently have discovered many surprising and unusual forms of art. Internationality and networking make this art call a huge opportunity for the artists.
There are ten categories:
• Painting
• Photography
• Video
• Installation
• Sculpture
• Digital Graphics
• Animation
• Mix Media
• Performance
• Other
- All kinds of art works are accepted, including video, installations and performances.
- All works will be presented by a picture or a video that must be followed by a description of the work.
- All works must be available for the final exhibition and have to be artist’s property.
- You can enter with a work that has already participated in other competitions.
Internationality and networking make this art call a huge chance for artists, which can win a cash prize and have the opportunity to exhibit the submitted works in an art gallery of a European city. Jury’s final decision will lead to a selection of 18 artists that will participate in the expo.
The jury will select 18 artists for the final exhibition. The names of those two artists will be published on the official website www.yicca.org in the last day of the exhibition. Among the 18 selected artists, other 2 artists will win 2 art residences as a prize.
Selected artists will be contacted for the preparation and submission of material for the final catalog as well as for the preparation and submission of the works immediately after the subscriptions deadline.
The selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit the submitted works on the final exhibition of Yicca 2018, that will be held in the spaces of the Prsten Gallery at the HDLU pavillon, Zagreb, Croatia. Their works will be published in the YICCA catalogue which will be distributed free of charge to the finalists and will be available for professionals and institutions invited during the inauguration of the event.

Eligibility
The art competition is open to all artists or groups of artists and professionals from any country. There are no special qualifications required for entry.
