2022 International Competition For New Comic Book Authors: As part of the 19th Treviso Comic Book Festival edition (TCBF 2022), Associazione Fumetti in Treviso announces the International Contest for New Comic Authors 2022, the Contest addresses all beginner comic authors of legal age who want to test their skills and try to create a comic story.

About Competition

As part of the 19th Treviso Comic Book Festival edition (TCBF 2022), Associazione Fumetti in Treviso announces the International Contest for New Comic Authors 2022.

This year’s theme is “Next Generation”.

The Contest addresses all beginner comic authors of legal age who want to test their skills and try to create a comic story.

Each participant (or group of participants) is required to submit a comic story about this year’s theme. Stories and characters in the submitted comic story can be both fictional or based on real people and events.

Submission requirements

➜ In order to participate in the contest, each participant (or group of participants) is required to submit a comic story about this year’s theme. Stories and characters in the submitted comic strory can be both fictional or based on real people and events.

➜ You may submit a comic story with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 pages. The text of the comic story must be either in Italian or English. The works must be sent in digital format (PDF). The submitted artwork can be black and white or in color.

Eligibility

This competition is open worldwide to comic authors aged 18 and over. It is possible to participate both alone or as a group of artists.
