SBID International Design Awards 2020 is now open for submissions! Considered one of the most prestigious accolades in interior design, the SBID Awards bring together the world's finest interior design projects across a range of categories.
There are 17 categories of design excellence ranging across commercial and residential interior spaces:
1. CGI & Visualisation
2. Club & Bar Design
3. Healthcare & Wellness Design
4. Hotel Bedroom & Suites Design
5. Hotel Public Space Design
6. KBB Design
7. Office Design
8. Property Development Asia Pacific
9. Public Space
10. Residential Apartment Over £1M
11. Residential Apartment Under £1M
12. Residential Budget Up To £50k
13. Residential House Over £1M
14. Residential House Under £1M Design
15. Restaurant Design
16. Retail Design
17. Shows Flats & Developments
There is no restriction on the number of submissions. There is no restriction on the number of categories entered per submission.
All projects entered must not be more than 2 years old at the moment of submission e.g. they must be completed on or after 31st March 2018.
A panel of Judges, representing a broad range of design skills and connections, will choose the winning entries during the month of August which will account for 70% of the overall score. There will also be an opportunity for the public to vote on their favorite designs which will account for 30% of the overall score. Finalists will be announced on 1 September 2020. The winners will be announced and presented with their trophies at the SBID Awards ceremony hosted at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London on 23 October 2020.
Entry fee cost £195 per submission for Non-SBID Members. SBID members are eligible to enter up to 1 project free of charge.
The SBID Awards is open to any design professional which includes interior designers, interior architects, architects, property developers, decorators and home stagers.
Winners in 17 categories will receive a beautiful SBID International Design Award 2020 trophy, specially created by Czech glass specialist Sans Souci Glass Deco.
Furthermore, winners and finalists enjoy numerous benefits, such as free entry to the House of Lords networking event, access to Meet the Buyer, a winner/finalist certificate, extensive social media exposure throughout the year, and the right to use the 'SBID Winner/Finalist 2020' logo on their website.
