Call for Entries: Formabilio has recenty lanced the 43rd furniture design competition named Amalgamate dedicated to designers and design enthusiasts worldwide.

What can I design? A powerful and ancient material, this is ceramic, born from the union and blending of our own planet basic elements: earth, air, fire and water. A material with a strong creative power, flexible ductility and solid character forged by fire. Nevertheless, it maintains its fragile spirit and becomes precious. Combine these features to your creativity, rethink its function in a new way, use it as main element and protagonist of furniture elements, accessories and lamps.
Basically, suggest projects:
- which fall into the furniture, lighting and furnishings and vases categories (NO clocks, gifts, accessories, children toys and furniture, cooking utensils etc.)
- That are mostly made of ceramic (with different color and decoration options, gloss/matt finish)
For any secondary material you can use solid wood, wood panels, upholstered furniture with various finishes, metal sheets manufacturing through cold stamping,2d and 3d laser cut – used by our companies (so no 100% wood, fabric, glass, plastic, marble, rock, Corian, etc...).
- that can easily be packaged with packaging of up to 230 cm in length and weighing up to 30 kg each per package
- that can be easily assembled and installed by the buyer
that are eco-design inspired
