The Call for Entries titled International Visual Identity Awards 2019 is now open!

International Visual Identity Awards 2019

CALL FOR ENTRIES - The International Visual Identity Awards, the first independent international Graphic Design Competitions dedicated solely to visual identity, has been recently opened for entries in its 2019 edition with the mission to formally recognize and celebrate the world's best visual identity design.


About

Celebrating their 6th year, the international Visual Identity Awards 2019, the first independent international competitions dedicated solely to visual identity, now is open for entries. Their mission is to formally recognize and celebrate the world's best visual identity design.

Entries are judged in 21 categories, with a winner and two runners-up in each. One overall winner across all categories wins the prestigious title of International Visual Identity of the Year.

The categories are:

Media and publishing
Transport and automotive
Healthcare
Financial services
Food and drink
Restaurants, hospitality, travel and leisure
Retail
Charity and non-profit
Professional services
Fashion
Real Estate
Manufacturing
Destination
Sport
Entertainment
Technology
Telecommunications
Energy/Utilities
Consumer products
Public sector
Student

Entries must include not just a logo but also examples of its application across different items as part of a brand's visual identity system.

Eligible entries must have been launched between 1st January 2018 and the closing date of 5th September 2019. Entries are permitted from all countries worldwide.

Concept or speculative work is not accepted, with the exception of the Student category. Student entries are only valid if the entrant is registered as a full-time student in a recognised educational institution.

One winner and a second and third place runner-up will be announced in each category. One overall winner receives the title of Visual Identity of the Year.

Early bird entry closes on 15th May 2019. The final deadline is 5th September 2019.

Winners will be announced by the end of 2019.

Entry fees:

Early bird normal: £65 per entry + UK VAT
Early bird student: £45 per entry + UK VAT
Normal: £70 per entry + UK VAT
Student: £50 per entry + UK VAT

Who can enter?

Entries are eligible from any country worldwide from both client and agency teams, as well as freelance designers. Students in full-time education may submit their work into the student category.

Prize

All winners and runners-up will receive a certificate and Visual Identity Awards badge to display on their marketing materials.

Moreover, a press release will be circulated to all the major marketing and design media worldwide and winners will appear on the IVIA website.
