Nami Concours 2019 - Nami Island Picture Book Illustration Concours now is over!
Illustration competition organised every two years by Nami Island (Korea), titled 2019 Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Contest has been recently opene for entries with aim to encourage artists creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality of picture book illustrations.
Organised every two years by Nami Island (Korea), illustration competition titled Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Concours aims to encourage artists’ creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality of picture book illustrations.
In this illustration competition there is no restriction regarding the theme, and you are welcome to submit either original illustrations or digital prints of original illustrations as entries. Both published and unpublished illustrations will be judged equally.
A set of illustrations should comprise 1 story, and each applicant can upload 5 to 10 images per entry. The size of each image may differ as long as the total sum is less than 20MB. However, each work should be at least 1024 pixels.
Each applicant can apply up to 3 entries as long as they’re different works.
Application Period opens from 1 July 2018 until 31 August 2018.
International jury composed of renowned professionals will shortlist successful candidates up to 10x (more than the actual number of winners, after Nami Concours 2019 selects the winners from among shortlisted candidates selected during the preliminary round of judging.
Illustrations of the shortlisted candidates will be exhibited during the 2019 Nami Island International Children’s Book Festival and included in the catalogue. The winners will be announced on the Nami Concours official website in January 2019.
There is no entry fee for this competition.
