The Vevey Book Award 2019/2020, photography competition has been recently opened for entries.

The Images Vevey Book Award is a grant worth CHF 10,000 that supports the creation of a book project which showcases an optimal and original balance between publication format and photographic content. It provides a financial contribution that aims to encourage artists to take risks and to innovate, in order for them to develop a suitable sophisticated publication format for their photography project.

Images Vevey expects participants to show creativity and originality, both in how they address an issue and in how they design their book project.

You need to upload 10 to 20 images per submission, at least 1500px on the long edge.

Applicants submit their project online between January 14th and February 28th, 2019.

The final jury will be composed of five international personalities from institutional, artistic, curatorial media and editorial world. They pre-selects at least 15 projects and from there will choose the winning project. The winner has a one year to publish his/her book and present it at Festival Images Vevey 2020.

The participation fee is 40 Euro.
