The Call for Entries titled SpaceTime 2019: Call for Submissions - International Competition for Students is now open!
CALL FOR ENTRIES - The SIGGRAPH’s SpaceTime 2019 International Competition for Students is now open for entries looking for posters from students around the world that depict the theme “Thrive”.
The SpaceTime 2019 International Competition For Students provides an excellent opportunity for students attending schools at the College/University levels or High School/Secondary levels to exhibit their computer-based media creative work nationally and internationally.
The theme for SpaceTime 2019 is: “Thrive”, keeping with the theme of the 2019 conference.
You can submit 1 entry per student. You may include text in the poster design as long as it suits the theme. A minimal use of text is suggested.
You should not use any copyrighted imagery for your poster, and you are responsible for copyright related issues.
• Image size: 1754 × 2481 pixels - A3 (11.69” x 16.54” / 297mm x 420 mm) @ 150-ppi
• Color Mode: RGB (please no CMYK images)
• Image Format: JPEG (.jpg)
• Maximum file size: 2MB
• Name your image: firstname_lastname_s2019.jpg
On the submission form, you will be asked to provide an artist statement (up to 250 words) along with your technical statement (up to 150 words).
Entries will be judged by international jurors on the basis of solution of the theme, artistic merit, design, originality, technical excellence, and content.
There is no entry fees to participate in this competition!

Who can enter?
The SIGGRAPH’s SpaceTime 2019 is open for entries by students from both USA and around the world.
The first two winners will receive a non-transferable complimentary Conference Select registration to the SIGGRAPH 2019, the 46th International Conference & Exhibition on Computer Graphics & Interactive Techniques in Los Angeles, USA, 28 July-1 August, 2019 — travel or lodging not included. The authors of accepted works will receive a letter, which may serve as a basis for applying for their schools’ grants to attend the conference.
