2nd International Print Biennial Łódź 2018 now is over!
LodzPrints is hosting the 2st International Print Biennial Łódź 2018, a two-stage international print competition for artworks created on paper in different graphic techniques and calling professional artists and students to submit their applications.
International print competition Print Biennial Łódź 2018 is hosting a two-stage international competition for artworks created on paper in different graphic techniques.
In Stage 1 the Jury will evaluate artworks on the basis of digital reproduction. In Stage 2 the original artworks will be evaluated by the Jury.
Stage 1 aims at choosing the artworks to be then evaluated in Stage 2.
Stage 2 aims at choosing the Post-Contest Exhibition Participants and nominating the Contest Winners.
Stage 1 requires digital versions of artworks. Artwork graphic files should be submitted in JPEG or TIFF formats, minimum 300 dpi – the longer side 25 cm.
Original paper artworks will be evaluated by the Jury appointed by the Organizer at the 2 stage of the Contest.
Each Participant may submit maximum 3 artworks to the Contest.
Artworks may be made with the use of various graphic techniques, on paper. Art installations will not be accepted.
Each artwork can be no longer than 150 cm long, and no smaller than 20cm x 20cm. The minimal dimensions refer to print size.
Artworks made in the period from 2015 to 2017 will be qualified to the Contest.
The Winners of the Contest will take part in the Post-Competition Exhibition of the International Biennale of Graphic Art Łódź 2018.
Participation in the 1 stage of the competition is free
The fee for Stage 2 is 95 Polish złoty for participants from Poland and 50 Euro for participants from abroad.

This competition is open to professional artists and students in their final two years of art school.
