The 3rd reEarth International Art Prize 2026 is an international art competition for children and young people, presented by reEarth Studio, a project of The Little Art. The initiative uses creative practice to encourage a global dialogue around the natural world, climate change and a more sustainable future.
Open to children and youth aged 4 to 25 from every corner of the world, the prize encourages participants to use creative expression as a way to highlight environmental issues and reimagine a more sustainable future.
The competition fosters innovation while giving young creators a platform to communicate their visions for a healthier planet.
This year, reEarth is open to receive painting & drawing, photography, digital art & illustration and AI across 4 different themes:
➜ Our Amazing World – Celebrate the beauty, diversity and wonder of the world around you, or imagine a world that exists only in your imagination.
➜ The World Below the Water – Celebrate the beauty of these underwater worlds, imagine new discoveries, or inspire others to care for the water that gives life to us all.
➜ Through Nature’s Eyes – Imagine seeing the world through the eyes of another living being. How would a bird see the sky? What stories would an ancient tree tell? How does a bee experience a garden, or a whale the ocean?
➜ Together for Tomorrow – Show your ideas, your hopes and your imagination for a world where people and nature flourish together.
AI-generated work is allowed only in the AI Generative Art category and is prohibited in Digital Art & Illustration.
Artworks will be judged based on creativity, originality, interpretation of the theme, technique, and overall impression.
Selected artworks will be displayed in prestigious physical exhibitions in Sharjah, Auckland and Venice, offering participants global visibility and recognition. In addition, the competition provides extensive online exposure, creating opportunities for artists to reach wider audiences and build their portfolios.
Eligibility
Open to young artists worldwide aged 4 to 25 as of November 1, 2026, entering individually or through a school or institution, with multiple entries permitted.
Benefits
The reEarth 2026 art prize offers cash and in-kind prizes valued at $50,000. Four 1st Prizes of $1,000, four 2nd Prizes of $750, and four 3rd Prizes of $500, with winning e-certificates and selected works exhibited in Sharjah, Auckland or Venice. There are also 30 Jury’s Choice Awards, 150 Honourable Mention finalist awards and 500 Spotlight Selections, while all participating artists receive e-certificates.
Entry fees
Entry fee is $30 per artwork, regardless of category.
