Arte Laguna Prize 2021-2022: The Cultural Association MoCA (Modern Contemporary Art) organizes the 16th edition of Arte Laguna Prize 2021-2022, international Prize aimed at promoting and enhancing contemporary art.

➜ Short description

Now in its 16th edition Arte Laguna Prize, the world’s most influential competition for emerging artists and designers that showcases and promotes creative talents now is calling for entries and accepting submissions from all parts of the world.

The aims of Arte Laguna Prize is to promote contemporary art providing artists with professional development opportunities and gives artists the opportunity to join a large network of collaborations around the world, get free visibility and sell their works on the online platform, win a cash prize and exhibit in the iconic spaces of the Arsenale Nord in Venice.

The Prize is open to the following artistic disciplines: Painting, Sculpture and Installation, Photographic Art, Video Art And Short Films, Performance, Digital Art, Digital Graphics And Cartoon, Land Art, And Urban Art And Street Art, Art Design.

The jury is composed of important curators and directors of museums operating in different countries.

The theme is free.

All the submitted works remain property of the artists.

➜ the information about the works (title, technique, year and dimensions) depending on the section you are applying to.

➜ It is not necessary for works to be new, and they may have already been submitted to other contests or other exhibitions. The submitted works may also have been exhibited in other contexts (or they may still be at the moment of the enrollment), the important thing is that they are available for the finalists exhibition.

➜ Evaluation Criteria:

The jurors will evaluate the works by taking into considerations the international contemporary art features and according to qualitative criteria as well as research and technical abilities.

➜ Who may enter?

The Prize is open to all artists and designers, with no restrictions of age, gender, nationality or any other qualifications. It is possible to apply as a group of artists.
