2022 PAVE Student Design Competition: 'City Relief'

2022 PAVE Student Design Competition: 'City Relief' now is over!

The PAVE Student Design Competition that promotes “real world” design experience for college-level students interested in pursuing careers in the retail design industry, now is calling for entries in its 2022 edition.

Short description

The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) Student Design Competition, now in its 28th year, is open for entries!

The PAVE Student Design Competition promotes “real world” design experience for college-level students interested in pursuing careers in the design industry.

Student designers across the globe are encouraged to participate in designing and enhancing a mobile/pop-up, guest experience for City Relief, connecting friends and guests in need, with much-needed resources while creating an equitable sense of place for friends and neighborhoods.

To support the idea of a pop-up "Third Place," your vision should be a transformative experience based on strong design concept development, defining a unique and supportive guest experience, while celebrating a flexible, sustainable, and buildable project.

Eligibility

This annual international competition is open exclusively to undergraduate and graduate college students involved in retail planning, design, visual merchandising, branding, and similar programs.

Benefits

The students with the Top 5 concepts will be awarded $3,000 each, and an additional $1,000 will be awarded to each of their schools.

Entry fees

The competition is free to enter.
