6th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest: The Green Crescent recently has organized its 6th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest with aim to draw attention to addictions in their country and the rest of the world while raising awareness among the youth.

The 6th International Green Crescent Cartoon Contest, organized by Green Crescent now is calling for entries with aim to draw attention to addictions, while raising awareness among the youth.
Subject Matter of the Contest: “The New Generation and the New Generation Addictions”.
Works submitted to the contest are expected to focus on the causes of addictions, how they spread, their consequences, effects of the pandemic, and online betting and online gambling additions within the framework of the theme.
The aim is to share the power and effect of healthy life, which cartoonists from all four corners of the world will devise by adding humor to their cartoons, to the public through this year’s contest.
Up to 3 works can be sent, published works may be participated in, provided that they are not awarded.
Works submitted to the contest will be evaluated both by cartoonists, and by experts in the field of addiction.
The winners will be announced on 18 February 2022. Award ceremony will be held 10 June 2021.
➜ Who may enter?
The contest is open to all amateur/professional cartoonists worldwide.
➜ Prize:
The 1st place winner will receive 15,000 TRY, the 2nd place winner will receive 12,500 TRY, and 3rd place winner will receive 10,000 TRY. Additionally, 7,500 TRY will be awarded to the 3 achievement award winners each, as well as another 3,500 TRY to the Mazhar Osman Special Award winner. The ‘Under 16’ category, taking submissions this year for the first time, will earn 3 winners 7,500 TRY.
