Originally launched in South-East Europe to explore and celebrate the region’s creative potential, the BIG SEE Awards have since evolved into a global platform honoring outstanding projects and visionary minds. Today, BIG SEE celebrates creativity, innovation, and excellence across architecture, interior design, product design, fashion, and creative business, empowering creators worldwide to connect, innovate, and make a lasting impact.
Each year, the BIG SEE Awards attract architects, designers, and companies from around the world who are seeking international recognition and visibility.
The awards aim to uncover emerging talent, promote visionary design practices, and connect creative professionals with wider industry networks, fostering cultural and economic growth through design.
BIG SEE celebrates those who turn challenges into opportunities, creating something extraordinary out of the ordinary.
The program provides a curated stage for professionals to present their work to influential juries, media, and audiences during the BIG Architecture Festival in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
With its emphasis on originality, sustainability, and contextual design, the competition positions itself as a benchmark for design excellence in the 21st century, aligning with current global trends and challenges in architecture and the creative industries.
The Awards include two main competition categories:
➜ BIG SEE Architecture & Interior Design Award — for visionary architecture that redefines buildings, interiors, and environments to inspire creativity and improve how we live, work, and connect
➜ BIG SEE Product Design Award — for outstanding achievements in product design and architecture from around the world

The BIG SEE Festival this time is schedulade for 21-22 May 2026.
Who may enter?
This competition is open worldwide to projects completed within the last three years (for architecture) or launched within the past two years (for product design, with prototypes eligible if market launch by March 2026).
Prize:
Winners receive a trophy (presented at the festival or shipped for a fee), the right to use the BIG SEE Award logo, a certificate, their project featured on the BIG SEE website and social media, a printed listing in the BIG SEE Report, and for higher-tier packages increased exposure such as a full-page feature or profile plus gala tickets and enhanced networking.
Entry fees:
Entry fee starts from €150 during the Early Bird product design entry (and from around €50–€150 for architecture category depending on submission period) per entry.
