Cosentino Design Challenge 2024 now is over!
The Cosentino Design Challenge 2024, an annual architecture and design challenge for students organised by Grupo Cosentino has been recently opened for entries with the aim to support students during their formative stage and to encourage them to research on different conceptual approaches.
Short description
Cosentino Design Challenge 2024 is competitions for architecture and design students recently organised by Grupo Cosentino, now in 18th edition.
Their aim is to support students during their formative stage and to encourage them to research on different conceptual approaches to the layout of spaces and the construction systems defining them.
This research and reflection, along with the themes proposed in each edition, have as their basic principle respect for the environment, reuse and management of waste and the possibility of reusing excess material as high-quality raw material. Grupo Cosentino believes that it is important to foster these reflections during the formative stage of future professionals.
The voting process will be composed of two phases: on-line voting and face-to-face voting.
The presentation of prizes will take place at an official event whose date and location will be made known to finalists and partner schools or centers for higher education at an opportune time.
Who may enter?
Both categories of the 17th Cosentino Design Challenge – International Design Competition and International Architecture Competition – are open to students enrolled in the 2022-2023 academic year at any educational center or polytechnic offering courses in design, architecture, interior architecture or other similar fields of study
Prize:
For each category (CDC18 Architecture and CDC18 Design) the following prizes will be awarded: Three first prizes, three second prizes, and special mentions. These comprise a total of six first prizes and six second prizes plus as many special mentions as the jury sees fit to award. Each of the six first prizes will consist of €1,000. The awarding of special mentions will be at the discretion of the jury. Winners and all candidates who receive special mentions will also be given a certificate stating the result of their participation in the competition.

There is no entry fee to participate!
