Future Generation Art Prize 2023: The Future Generation Art Prize 2023, art competition has been recently opened for entries, established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, invites artists aged 35 or younger from anywhere in the world, working in any medium to participate.

Short description

Established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Future Generation Art Prize is accepting applications for 2023 edition of its biannual global contemporary art competition.

The Future Generation Art Prize is a biannual global contemporary art prize to discover, recognize and give long-term support to a future generation of artists.

The Prize is an innovative international award for artists up to 35 years of age of all backgrounds, working in any medium, investing in the artistic development and new production of works.

All works of art, regardless of category or media are eligible for submission.

An outstanding selection committee, appointed by a distinguished international jury, will review every application and will nominate 20 artists for the shortlist. These artists will be commissioned to create new works that go on display at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv. Subsequently, all of them will present their works in the Future Generation Art Prize exhibition at the Venice Biennale.

Future Generation Art Prize 2023 award ceremony will be held on December, 2023.

Who may enter?

All artists aged 35 or younger from anywhere in the world, working in any medium are invited to apply for the Prize.

Prize:

The main prize winner receives US$ 100,000 split between a $60,000 cash prize and a $40,000 investment in their practice. A total amount of US$ 20,000 will be awarded to special prize winners (Up to 5 special prizes) for supporting projects that develop their artistic practice.
