IIDA Healthcare Design Awards now is over!

IIDA Healthcare Design Awards: Healthcare Design Awards 2020, organized by International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has been recently opened for entries accepting submissions from all participants worldwide.

➜ Short description

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) now is calling for submissions accepting entries from around the world for its 9th annual IIDA Healthcare Design Awards 2020.

This competition honors and celebrates outstanding originality and excellence in the design and furnishings of healthcare interior spaces.

Projects must be submitted in one of the 14 categories:

Ambulatory
➜ Specialty Clinic
➜ Pediatric
➜ Cancer Center
➜ Ambulatory Surgery Center
➜ Urgent Care Center

Hospitals
➜ Community
➜ Academic/Teaching Hospitals
➜ Pediatric
➜ Women’s
➜ Psychiatric

Extended Care & Assisted Living Facilities
➜ Skilled Nursing Facility
➜ Mental Health
➜ Long-term Care
➜ Hospice/Palliative Care

All projects are eligible for the Transformation and Innovation Award, which recognizes a project that is leading the industry and advancing healthcare outcomes.

Submission Requirements:

➜ A brief project summary to assist the jurors in their review of your project (50-word maximum)

➜ A description of your project’s design challenge (250-word maximum)

➜ A description of specific solutions to the design challenges, such as: originality, suitability of the design to the project challenges, successful incorporation of interior finishes and furnishings, benefits to the client, etc. (250-word maximum)

➜ 7 – 10 color images (JPEG under 2MB) of your completed project. Only 1 exterior image is permitted.

➜ 1 – 3 floor plans (JPEG under 2MB).

The design projects must have been completed in or after June 2018.

The winning design projects are chosen by a jury of design professionals. Submissions are judged for suitability of design to the project challenge, originality of the design solution, and the successful integration of interior finishes and furnishings.

Submission Fees:

➜ $275 per submission for IIDA Members
➜ $375 per submission for non-members

➜ Who may enter?

Any design professional practicing legally in their jurisdiction may submit design project(s). This competition is open to participants worldwide.

➜ Prize:

Winning projects are featured in Healthcare Design Magazine, on the IIDA website and social media, featured in the official competition press release, the digital winners brochure, and celebrated at a special award winners' ceremony.

Winners will receive an official winner's logo and marketing kit to promote their win as well.
