Interior Design’s Best of Year 2020 now is over!
Interior Design’s Best of Year 2020: Interior Design’s Best of Year, a global design awards program dedicated to the year’s best products, projects, and people, has been recently opened for entries welcoming domestic and international submissions for all categories.
Short description
Interior Design’s Best of Year is the design industry’s premiere design awards program, honoring the most significant work of the year as well as recognizing designers, architects and manufacturers from around the globe.
Now celebrating its 15th year, Interior Design’s Best of Year is the ultimate measure of design excellence, honoring the most significant work of the year and recognizing designers, architects and manufacturers from around the globe.
Product submissions must have been introduced between September 2019 and September 2020. Products/collections may be entered into one or more categories.
Project submissions must have been completed between September 2019 and September 2020 (with the exception of the ’on the boards’ category, reserved for in-progress projects). Projects may be entered into one or more categories.
People submission nominees must be active design industry professionals, including designers, architects, and manufacturers.
Student product submissions are open to products launched or exhibited, either in conjunction with a class or a (virtual) show. Submitters must be graduate or undergraduate students enrolled in accredited design programs globally. Student submissions open on August 3, 2020.
Eligible product designs include but are not limited to: Accessories, Architectural Products, Fabric, Furniture, Kitchen & Bath, Lighting, and Wall Covering.
Products and Projects that have been previously awarded or published are not excluded from entry.
Winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony hosted by Editor in Chief Cindy Allen that will air on Interior Design’s Facebook Live, Twitter, and on InteriorDesign.net.
Entry fees:
Entry fee cost $300 per entry. Student submission fee to be announced shortly.
Who may enter?
Domestic and international submissions are welcome for all categories.
Prize:
➜ Winners will be Honored during a virtual ceremony, aired on Interior Design’s Facebook Live, Twitter, and on InteriorDesign.net. Further
➜ Winners will be featured in an upcoming issue of Interior Design, reaching 60,000+ A+D professionals.
➜ Winners will be celebrated via digital coverage, including motion graphic videos, Instagram stories, a Facebook photo gallery, and a Pinterest board.
➜ All winners and honorees will be published in an online gallery on InteriorDesign.net.
➜ Winning people will be featured in a native article profile on InteriorDesign.net.
