Set against the backdrop of the historic foundry halls of Carlshütte, boasting 22,000 square meters of exhibition space, as well as the charming ACO Wagenremise building and a sprawling 80,000 square meters of sculpture park, NordArt provides a distinctive and immersive experience for artists and art enthusiasts alike. NordArt’s uniqueness lies in its ability to foster cross-cultural understanding, emphasizing the shared thoughts and ideas between East and West, South and North, while simultaneously celebrating the diversity of individual perspectives. To promote a deeper appreciation of global artistry, NordArt annually dedicates an individual pavilion to a specific country and collaborates with embassies, cultural institutions, and curators from various nations on special projects. Guided by the visionary Wolfgang Gramm as the principal curator and Inga Aru as the senior curator, NordArt continues to be a beacon of creative expression, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a profound artistic experience.
