Set against the backdrop of the historic foundry halls of Carlshütte, boasting 22,000 square meters of exhibition space, as well as the charming ACO Wagenremise building and a sprawling 80,000 square meters of sculpture park, NordArt provides a distinctive and immersive experience for artists and art enthusiasts alike. The exhibition is a testament to the power of artistic dialogue, as it brings together more than 200 selected artists, transcending boundaries and inviting viewers on a profound journey of discovery.

Between June and October, paintings and sculptures, photographs and installations by more than 200 selected artists (internationally renowned as well as newcomers) from all over the world come together as a monumental piece of art.
The jury is made up of curators, artists, an art historian, and the supervisory board and management.
The NordArt Prize is awarded annually to one artist. The prize winner is announced towards the end of the exhibition and is invited to participate in NordArt again. The award ceremony takes place at the NordArt opening in the following year.

➜ Artist resume (Word or PDF file, max 1MB).
➜ Additional material (optional): texts, articles, reviews (Word or PDF file, max 1MB).
➜ Select field (painting, sculpture, installation, photo, etc.). Multiple selection possible.
➜ Upload images of artworks, which could be shown at NordArt: up to 10 files (1 MB max single file, formats: JPG, GIF, PNG, PDF), fill text fields with information. Field „web link“: link for video work or image file.
➜ Who may enter?
Artists from all over the world can apply to participate.
➜ Prize:
The NordArt-Prize is worth 10,000 EUR. The three Public Choice Awards are endowed with 1,000 euros each and come with an invitation to participate in the NordArt the following year. the three winning artists will be invited to the prize-giving ceremony.
