One Color Award: Organised by Vand International, a design strategist firm based in the UK and Iran, One Color Award with this contest aims to prove that a mono-colour design is not only one of the cheapest and the simplest ways of standing out among rivals, but also, in many designs, creating a greater influence, as well as, showing off the mastery of the designer.

Short description

One Color Award, organised by Vand International (a design strategist firm based in the UK and Iran), aims to prove that a mono-colour design is not only one of the cheapest and the simplest ways of standing out among rivals, but also, in many designs, creating a greater influence, as well as, showing off the mastery of the designer. The soul of the design should not be camouflaged by a hectic design.

During the years that we have worked in different markets and industries, a common issue in many brand designs has always been shown up ... the purpose of the design has been buried under a vibrant design using too many colours in.

Numerous designers, mistakenly, claim that by using one main colour in designs, they cannot provide an outstanding master-piece. Hence, design strategist of VAND INTERNATIONAL, do believe that a mono-colour design is not only one of the cheapest and the simplest ways of standing out among rivals, but also, in many designs, creating a greater influence, as well as, showing off the mastery of the designer.
The challenge is designing a brand in 95% one color. Other 5% can be used to distinguish a name or a sketch.

Submission requirements:

Attendees should upload their design and a short story about the brand. The uploaded file should include 5±1 separate page, in one PDF file. Each page should be 2000 x 2000px and each page in PDF file should include just 1 work.

The nominees will be selected by an international jury 10 days after the deadline, and the winner will be announced after 15 days.
