Posterheroes 2022: Posterheroes 2022, an international graphic design competition organized by PLUG association, is opened for entries inviting the creative international community to create a poster representing digital equality.

Short description

Posterheroes is an international contest about social communication, recently opend for entries that calls for posters about social and environmental issues.

This year all creative international community are invited to create a poster on the theme “Mindful or Mind Full?” inviting creatives worldwide to reflect on current and future learning models.

With the topic “Mindful or Mind Full?”, the contest intends to stimulate debate on the theme of learning, highlighting the limits of the current educational paradigm and imagining future scenarios through a poster.

We live in an era of information overload where people must continually reskill, upskill and get new skills. Learning follows the accelerated pace of technological progress, leaving behind those who cannot keep up. It is time to change the paradigm in favor of slow and sustainable learning that aims to train conscious individuals in the name of cooperation, respect, and solidarity. Posterheroes propose to reflect on the limits of current learning models and imagine future ones: Mindful or Mind Full? Graphic designers, professional or not, are invited to express their thoughts through a 70×100 cm poster.

Posterheroes wants to animate international debate on social issues, stimulating the creative community to reflect on them.

An international jury, made up of the most important professionals and artists of the graphic design field, will select the 40 winning posters, which will be the subjects of exhibitions, events, and editorial productions by PLUG. The organizers will decide who will be the first classified who will receive a special mention accompanied by a cash prize of €2,500. Moreover, 12 posters will be selected to be part of the 2023 Calendar designed by Plug and created by Favini.

Posterheroes invites students, professional designers, and everyone who is into graphic design to create a poster about topics of social interest.
