Textile R&D Naming now is over!

Textile R&D Naming: New naming contest has been recently organized by Textile Company Network and Desall inviting you to submit proposals for a new name and payoff that convey the concepts of internationality, innovation and knowledge-sharing and which will be utilized by a network of Italian textile companies.

Short description

Textile Company Network is looking for a new name and payoff to represent an industrial project of research and development in the textile sector based on the principle of shared innovation amongst the companies forming the product chain.

These companies share the objective of devising a model of innovation based on the circulation of ideas and mutual influences wherein the skills and experience of each individual company is seen as the engine of the whole chain, and as such it ought to be fully exploited.

The idea is to build a physical space, a large shared laboratory, in Magnonevolo, in the wool textile district of Biella, that reflects the international scope of the network and where companies will base their research and development units, start new projects and collaborations, meet clients and contribute to the growth of the whole sector in the long term.

This is also supposed to be a welcoming space for new companies that share the same values of the network.
The network won’t be limited to private companies, but will also involve schools and universities, whose contribution is fundamental to develop cross sector innovation as well as to cultivate talent.
Ultimately, this is a place that reflects, in its DNA, the values of the entrepreneurs that are creating it: the idea of sharing and collaborating, as well as continuous growth.
